During the award ceremony, the famous American band of the 90s performed their recent song “Do not go breaking my heart”

Backstreet Boys, one of the most famous boy bands of the 90s, took the stage of the MTV Video Music Awards 2018 to perform “Do not go breaking my heart”.

Recently, the band canceled a performance that was pending in the open air in Oklahoma, after strong winds toppled the entrance arches of the place, where fourteen people were injured and had to be transferred to hospital emergency.

Before the incident, Kevin Richardson of the Backstreet Boys tweeted that the groups were expecting a sold out concert and about 12 thousand attendees.

Richardson tweeted after the concert had been canceled due to the storm and injuries of fans.


It should be noted that the member of the pop group Backstreet Boys, Nick Carter, will offer a concert as a soloist on September 10 in our country.

The American band rose to fame with their debut album, “Backstreet Boys” (1996). The following album, “Backstreet’s Back” (1997) continued with the group’s success all over the world.

The youth group came to stardom with their album “Millennium” (1999) and the next album, “Black & Blue” (2000). After a break of three years, the band has released five albums (one along with the New Kids on the Block): “Never Gone” (2005), “Unbreakable” (2007), “This Is Us” (2009), “NKOTBSB” (2011) and “In A World Like This” (2013).
